22-144e – Customer Service Attendant (Full Time) Job in Port Coquitlam, BC at City of Port Coquitlam –
Some of the key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Responds to inquiries and provides information and assistance to the public regarding programs and services via a variety of media;
Process payments, including but not limited to collecting revenues for program registrations, admissions, pass sales and other revenues;
Registers customers in programs and maintains records related to transactions;
Receives payments using a variety of methods and tenders;
Prepares and reconciles cash reports and bank deposits; and
Represents the City and the Department in a positive, professional and customer friendly manner.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
Successful completion of Grade 12;
Customer Service Training Course(s);
Basic Bookkeeping course; and
One year of experience providing front line customer service including experience in retail transactions.

The terms and conditions of employment for this part-time assignment are in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement. This is a temporary assignment anticipated to conclude in 11 months. The 2022 hourly rate of pay is $23.27 plus 16% in lieu of benefits.
