Overview:
TEC Equipment is seeking talented, motivated Account Manager for our growing insurance business based in Portland, OR. Our agency specializes in transportation insurance for the trucking industry, a growing segment with virtually unlimited upside. We’re looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, problem solving ability, and accountability to customers and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Provide consistent impeccable customer service, helping clients solve problems.
Informs and educates clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance needs.
Communicate with clients, agents, and underwriters for all aspects of the policy processing.
Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and quality standards.
Act as the direct point of contact for assigned client’s coverage changes, certificate requests, binders and endorsements.
Process premiums and assist clients in the event of a dispute.
Prepare Certificate of Insurance and Cab Cards.
Handle new business and renewal packages, completing all paperwork as required by company policy, financial institutions and/or state regulation.
File and submit paperwork to appropriate entities and authorities.
Assist clients in the claims process.
Maintain and prioritize workload.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum one year of Property & Casualty Experience (Commercial Insurance Account Management experience preferred)
Valid property and casualty insurance license
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of insurance industry practices and terminology
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Client Management/Applied (Epic) experience a plus but not required
Must be able to function in high pressured, fast paced environment
