Job description:
The Administration and Referrals Officer will be responsible for helping to ensure that our Young Peoples spot purchase utilisation targets are met, through management of the referrals process.

£25,000 per annum, working 40 hours per week, plus 25 days Annual Leave, Pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare and career progression.

As an organisation we deliver over 110 services, providing support to around 7000 customers each year. The Administration and Referrals Officer will work closely with local authorities, referral officers and our local services to ensure that relationships are maintained and built.

In addition to the core component of this role, the A&R Officer will assist the patch with administration tasks, attend relevant meeting and work closely with service managers to develop our offer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well organised individual with great communication skills and a passion for working with YP in a more strategic/behind the scenes role.

Job Overview:
Monitor SIL Referral/placement inboxes.

Assist with Subsidy contract referral inflow.

Respond and log referrals from external parties, both accepted and declined.

Liaise with Contract managers/Team leaders regarding referral/void status within services.

Work closely with the Pan London Sil Services to Provide support; where necessary, in promoting outstanding service delivery.

Support to Head of Operations/Area Manager with general administrative tasks as requested.

Point of reference for SIL related queries within the wider organisation. Understand, analyse and be able to report on SIL Service data.

Maintain positive relationships with local authorities, including weekly updates as per borough specific reporting structures.

Submit proposals that are specific to each referrals needs and complete pricings for each proposal based on a cost model that is currently being reviewed.

Complete and submit any other documentation that is required when submitting the proposal i.e., SPRF or Fee Breakdown.

Follow up on referrals if they have not been responded to (within 2 days).

Co-ordinate viewings, assessments and move in with YP’s social worker, placements team and designated service.

Work with the finance team to ensure that payments are being made, where necessary chase local authorities for payments and Purchase Order numbers.

Work on addressing historic debt with the Area Manager and finance team.

Update finances for customers including one-off payments (invoicing where appropriate).

Update customer file and risk table with new documentation and information.

Assist with content for future marketing material.

Market research on the sector.

Person Specification:
Proven experience of being self-motivated and driven.

Able to manage time and workload affectivel

Willing to learn, develop and be flexible within this unique role

Excellent relationship building skills at all levels

High levels of written and verbal communication

Proven influencing and negotiation skills

Ability to help turn the directorate vision into reality

Resilient and able to mange self and effective delivery
