This role will support the Business and Lab teams to meet company objectives. We are looking for a mature and knowledgeable candidate who provides exceptional customer service and a high-level of professionalism. Being a self-starter is a must. Ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as in a team setting in a fast-paced setting.
— Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to calendar management, light bookkeeping, composing and preparing confidential correspondence, detailed travel plans, meeting agendas, notes, and summaries.
— Supports HR functions.
— Manages federal grants.
— Manages Compassionate Use (Expanded Access) program.
— Manages intellectual property filings and claims.
— Utilizes QuickBooks for bookkeeping.
— Works closely with various members of the team to determine needs and accomplish project completion.
— Takes meeting notes, compiles, and sends out to team members, as needed.
— Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on inbound communications, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate action, referral or response.
— Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues promptly.
— Writes and maintains corporate SOPs and policies.
— Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research activities.
— Liaise with IT support and handles onsite technical challenges.
— Requires own reliable transportation to periodically run errands.
— Perform other duties as needed and as assigned.
— Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience acceptable.
— Minimum Years’ Experience – 3 years related experience in similar role preferred.
— Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
— Experience in Biotech field preferred but not required.
— Excellent oral and written communication.
— Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as work in a team.
— Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
— Be able to sit for between 6-8 hours per day on computer.
