Job DescriptionThis is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work as needed. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility.Job DescriptionGeneral Motors is searching for an Executive Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing support to multiple Executives; provides broader departmental activity support; exercises high level of independent judgement, and frequent contact with others inside and outside the work group. This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Plan and chair weekly staff meeting including coordination with presenters

Maintain calendar and meeting coordination for supported Executives

Complete various special assignments, as required

Perform area coordination activities (communications, seating, etc.)

Prepare written reports, letters, etc. for designated Executives

Manage day-to-day office routines

Expedite handling of issues

Responsible for coordinating international and domestic travel

Maintain records and confidential files

Creates an efficient and orderly office

Develops communication materials for widespread distribution within the organization including newsletters, announcements, and general information updates

Additional Job Description

Minimum Required Skills and Experience:

Two-year college degree or professional certificate in related field or equivalent training experience

Minimum 2+ years relevant professional experience

Experience dealing with senior executives in a working capacity

High level of interpersonal skills

High-level problem-solving ability, including independent judgment and decision making skills

Advanced computer software skills

Highly proficient oral and written communication skills

Takes initiative, self-starter

Adapts well to change, team player

Trustworthy; maintains confidentiality

Desire to continuously learn and grow

Demonstrated planning and organizational skills

Preferred Skills And Experience

Four-year college degree
