Mayfield Medical Practice is looking for an administrative assistant to join our expanding admin team. This an exciting opportunity to advance your career within General Practice

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills. Our admin team is the first point of contact for our patients and we would like someone to join our team and maintain the current high standards. Previous experience of working in general practice is required.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Assisting patients both face to face and via telephone

Administrative tasks to include (Booking appointments/issuing repeat prescriptions/scanning)

E-Referrals

General reception tasks

Team leading

Staff Rotas

Patient recall management

Other Duties as per Job Description

EMIS Web Primary Care Clinical System or SystmOne experience essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £15,392.00 to £18,278.00 /year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No Weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our staff safe we have barriers/screens and full PPE to be used when required. Training will be given in correct usage.

Experience:

  • Receptionist / Administration in GP Practice: 1 year (Required)
  • GP Clinical System Experience – EMIS Web: 1 year (Required)

Licence:

Administrative Duties:

  • Scheduling
  • Carrying out requests from management as needed
  • Maintaining stock and ordering supplies
  • Answering emails and sorting post
  • Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
  • Greeting and welcoming visitors
