Job Description
Function summary
Under the direction of the Director(s), the incumbent acts as a resource person and coordinates/assumes responsibility for a variety of administrative functions. The administrative assistant provides administrative assistance and secretarial support to the Director(s). He/She plans and organizes the daily activities by coordinating the agenda, travel, and any other departmental activities/projects ensuring that the prescribed deadlines are met.

Required qualifications
Three (3) years community college diploma in a relevant field of an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a health care setting supporting management positions
Fluent in French and English, spoken and written (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement)
Proficiency in computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat
Experience in using scheduling and payroll management systems
Experience in organizing meetings, taking minutes and translating documents
Experience in maintaining electronic filing systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both official languages
