About the role
We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to be part of our Capability, Performance & Youth Command team. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support services to staff and other team members to enable the efficient operation of the command/business unit.
This is a temporary role and employment is either as temporary employment under Rule 11 of the Government Sector Employment (NSW Police Force) Rules 2017, temporary assignment under Rule 15 of the Government Sector Employment (NSW Police Force) Rules 2017 or a secondment under section 95 of the Police Act 1990 up to 12 months.
Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance for this role.

Target Question 1:
The Administrative Assistant role requires you to complete work tasks within agreed timeframes. Providing a recent example, outline the initiative taken to ensure a project or task was completed within the specified timeframe. How did you do this and what was the result?
Target Question 2:
As an Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for administering a large volume of correspondence across the Command. Describe your experience with Records Management and how you have utilised these systems to accurately manage a large number of records and the administration process for the life cycle of the document in line with policies and procedures.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 12 months.
