Assistant Catering Manager Job at RJPersonnel – in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

Job Description


Candidate Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Stock control.

Training and scheduling of staff.

Ordering of products according to customer needs.

Quality control on products for retail.

Maintaining high security and hygiene standards / health and safety standards.

Identifying and analysing quantities of food beverage and supplies being ordered.

Checking and maintaining cash-up procedures

Qualifications and Experience:
A National Diploma in Food Services Management.

3 Years previous working experience in retail management.

Restaurant / kiosk management experience will be an added advantage.

Good administrative skills and numerical disposition.

Strong sense of responsibility.

Experience regarding function co-ordination.

Experience in purchasing and stock control.

Must be friendly, patient and helpful.

Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Must be able to work under pressure.

Be prepared to work shifts including weekends.

Knowledge of the Point of Sale System will be an advantage.
