We are currently seeking an Italy Communication Coordinator (Maternity Cover) as part of our dynamic team in Milan Offices.
How you will contribute
Finalization of strategic features plan and fashion editorials for Italy, working closely with the EMEA and WW Communication Team
Maintain and develop all internal communications and strategies, sharing updates to align the local and global teams on activities and calendars, such as seasonal marketing plans, PR guidelines, editorial reports, ADV plans, etc
Maintain relations with all communications channels (press, partners, third parties) and daily contact with Italian editors to negotiate shootings, special projects, product pushes, distribution of assets, image and credit requests etc.
Define and implement product focused approaches and provide a clear product strategy to increase editorial presence
Daily update and preparation of product placements charts
Daily press office activities such as compilation of press reviews, periodical coverage recaps for corporate projects, notable editorials, management of all editorial sample requests, contacts with magazine warehouses for samples returns etc
Daily usage of PR Tools such as DMR, Eco stampa and the internal PR Portal for clipping uploads
Daily usage of Fashion GPS for samples movements in close collaboration with the WW office and the shipping department
Daily management and handling of the local sample set as well as seasonal sample order placement in accordance with the global guidelines
Translation and copy editing of all PR materials in the local language
Maintain and develop local talent engagement and strategies based on the WW guidelines
Support in the management of the country budget and strategic planning of ongoing updates, based on approval from the EMEA and WW Communication team
General administrative support and management of all invoices and order flows in cooperation with the finance and administration offices
Organization and coordination in the management of the events calendar with the local team and in accordance with the EMEA/ WW Communication and Events teams based on the global guidelines.
General back office activities such as: daily contacts with retail network, messenger services, preparation of PR toolkits and giftings, supplier contacts, etc
Who you are
At least 4-5 years of PR experience
Excellent knowledge of Italian press;
Strategic thinker, able to convey a 360° strategy for assigned market, maximizing contents on all channels (print, off line, events etc);
Team worker and team player; able to coordinate ad act quickly based on company needs; able to listen to market priorities and translate them into concrete and consistent actions;
Ability to proactively identify communications opportunities and develop them in coordination with the general strategy for the country;
Strong organizational skills; excellent time management (able to work per priorities and meet deadlines);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent computer skills and excellent prior knowledge of the PR tools required (DMR, Fashion GPS)
Excellent fluency in English and Italian, both verbal and written
