I’m currently working with a local authority based near Oxfordshire who are looking for a Building Surveyor on an interim basis to help with an added work load.
The successful Building Surveyor will have 5+ years industry experience with having carried out acquisition surveys, schedules of dilapidations and party wall awards.
Job Description Key responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
Identify Life-cycle and Cyclical works under the various contracts.
Ensure compliance with all company management policies and procedures and drive continuous improvement.
Produce detailed specification and tender documents for repairs, planned improvement and corrective works in line with current regulations and legislation.
Carrying out detailed surveys and drawing up specifications of work for their residential and commercial assets
Carrying out other professional building surveying duties, and offer other technical guidance and support to the contractor, adjacent owners, developers and across all departments of company.The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have:
Minimum level HNC/HND in Building Surveying or Building Studies / Construction or equivalent. (CIOB desirable)
Demonstrate ability and commitment to customer care and experience of working with customers face to face.
Strong Communication abilities
Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation with regards to building safety3 Months contract
£25 – £30 per hour
