You’ll be a key member of the Purchasing and Logistics team within the Analytics and Measurement business division in Zürich Oerlikon. Reporting to the supply chain manager, you will provide assistance to the company as a whole by ensuring that all procurement activities comply with the policies and procedures of the company.

Your responsibilities

Purchase equipment on behalf of the company in accordance with the required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and conditions defined

Place the Purchase Orders onto the suppliers, follow-up on the confirmations, update the SAP-MM System, control the inventories and make sure the production has always the material on time available

Operational responsibility for dedicated suppliers / categories and OTD, QKZ, Inventory Reporting

Monitor and adjust the master data, definite the correct supply type ( JIT , JiS , Kanban, VMI , etc.) and their implementation

Support other departments by providing relevant information of the market

Monitor the performance of suppliers (delivery times, quality, execution times) and solve performance problems

Align supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, durability, and price

Your background

HF / FH / Uni degree in industrial engineering and management or equal

More than five years of experience in the field of procurement, as buyer.

Experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) systems

Mastery of SAP and all office automation software (Office Suite)

Have a collaborative attitude oriented on solutions and strong communication skills
