Position: Calibration Technician – Swindon
To help enable us to strengthen and further develop the technical capability within our multi-functional Condos (manufacturing suites), we are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our growing site in Swindon.
You could well be a recent engineering graduate looking to commence your career in a manufacturing environment. Or you may have completed an engineering apprenticeship and are looking for your next position. Similarly you may well be an experienced Calibration Engineer.

What you will do:
Ensure compliance with the Calibration Plan.
Perform Non routine calibration / fault finding in order to support our production suites.
Keep all calibration documentation up to date.
Support for our external audit process.
Providing support to our project engineers as and when required.
Continuously updating technical and regulatory knowledge.
Procedure review and writing.
Identify development needs and agree performance and career development plans in conjunction with the management team. To strive for the achievement of development plan during the year.
Who we are looking for:
Engineering qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
Able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritise within a changing environment.
Experience of working within an audited environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Demonstrates an ability to work to standard procedures accurately and without deviation.
Positive and optimistic in approach to work.
Maturity and pragmatism with strong organisational abilities.
Dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active approach to taking on challenging assignments.
Strong project ownership ethic with a “can do” attitude.
Ability to work within and deliver critical timelines.
Good communication skills and the self-confidence to use these skills to convince others to buy-into proposals and plans.
