General Purpose:

Viverant Care Coordinators manage patient scheduling, billing, insurance questions as well as other clerical functions as needed.

Responsibilities of the

Care Coordinator (include but are not limited to):

Performance

Establish new accounts and cases as necessary.

Schedule a high volume of clients with a wide variety of providers and locations in assigned regions.

Verify insurance benefits, recognize plan intricacies, and update charts accurately.

Interpret insurance plan structure, requirements, and processes.

Communicate billing options to patients and clients.

Utilize internal provider reference guides to make care team recommendations to patients.

Manage patient account balance resolution and any follow-ups pertaining to patient balances (due to denied claims).

Review the following reports (but not limited to) on a consistent and timely basis: Accounts Receivable Report, Utilization Report, and Book of Business Report.

Develop a deep understanding of the business and act as primary contact for new patients and referrals.

Maintain a professional, clean studio environment.

Keep the studios clean and organized.

Supply ordering, as needed.

Engagement, Education and Patient Satisfaction

Establishes a positive patient/provider relationship as the initial interaction with a Viverant team member.

Confidently communicate with patients regarding all questions around billing/statements, payment plans, and care management.

Addresses any patient concerns revolving around scheduling, insurance, or billing in a timely manner.

Provides fellow Care Coordinators with ongoing assistance as a dedicated team player.

Maximize patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Prior customer service experience

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Strong written and verbal communications

Prior experience with healthcare scheduling and health insurance handling

Ability to multitask

Team player

Preferred Qualifications

B.S Kinesiology or health science related

Accredited Personal Training Certificate
