To ensure the plant meets its customer service, financial, inventory management, quality and safety goals through the effective management development and execution of Change Control activities impacting the AIDD Sligo Site Operations.
This position manages the Change Control team who author, approve and release DMR and QSR documents. The Change Control Manager is expected to develop, implement and manage the critical aspects of the change control group in order to support strategic programmes or projects at the site.
The position reports to the Business Excellence and Portfolio Manager.
Supervisory/ Management Responsibility
The position will require significant interaction both with Site Management as well as Division on an international scale. Will Demonstrate Management competencies

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Change Control team to ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with procedural requirements in a timely fashion thus achieving internal and external commitments.
Any site documentation referring to activities performed by Change Manager can be performed by Change Control Manger.
Tailor and apply project management related tools to facilitate efficient management of team activities and communication.
Develop, track and communicate progress against key programme milestones, deliverables and resource constraints.
Drive change control coordination between functional teams.
Consistently support collaborative efforts and promote a cooperative team environment at all levels of the Site while maintaining a direct connection with Division Management.
Develop innovative approaches to change management and have very keen foresight to anticipate activities and events that may cause delay in implementing change.
Use foresight to anticipate roadblocks before they occur.
Optimise the use of Human Resources by encouraging an atmosphere of involvement, open communication and effective teamwork
Complete all activities in a safe manner ensuring that any potential safety issues and areas for improvement are highlighted to Manager.
Ensure Environmental procedures eg recycling, waste minimization is adhered to and improvements made where possible.
Continuous Improvement of change control activities and optimization of workflow.
Prioritization, tracking and elevation of any issues that could significantly impact on delivery of required changes.
Education and Experience Required:
A Third level qualification in Business / Science/Engineering/or Quality together with Manufacturing / Business experience. This will provide the basic understanding of Business principles and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication abilities.
Five years post-graduate experience in Operations, Quality or Operations support organization
