The PositionThe Client Services Specialist is a key liaison between Veracyte and its customers. The primary responsibility is to provide world-class service and support to doctors and patients as well as to problem solve with our internal teams including sales, lab staff, and billing department to resolve customer issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive, successful relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking complete responsibility for each customer interaction and ensuring all customer requirements are fully met. This shift would be Monday – Friday, 5:30AM – 2:00PM PST. Training will be 4-6 weeks coming onsite, some training may differ to remote based on adaptability.

Key responsibilities include:

Set up new customer accounts and introduce our services and resources for patients and physicians

Contact medical practices to complete and verify patient and order information

Handle heavy call volume with a compassionate approach to problem solving

Manage kit/supply inventory levels to ensure appropriate customer levels

Monitor turnaround time for test results to identify when extra communication may be appropriate

Handle patient and physician email inquiries and ensure all feedback is documented

Who You Are

You have excellent customer service skills, a kind and compassionate approach to problem solving along with great attention to detail. You have the intellectual fortitude to manage an issue and see it through to its conclusion. You take great pride in building positive relationships with patients, doctors, sales representatives and your peers. You aspire to influence continuous improvement in our internal processes and operations through providing customer feedback themes and ideas for solutions. You have at least two years of experience working in a customer care role at a healthcare related company and have used Salesforce CRM as well as Microsoft Office. Previous roles in Case Management, Reimbursement, Customer Service with Medical Terminology will help you be successful in this role.
