What will you do?

Reporting to the Victorian Construction Manager, you will play a vital role supporting the Construction teams to monitor compliance and quality of projects. You will lead the office based quality assurance support team, and continuously improve a quality assurance framework.

Key responsibilities include:
Providing subject matter expertise in construction quality assurance and quality control leading to the delivery of world-class built products across our sites

Providing leadership to the office-based quality assurance support team; providing motivation and inspiration to the team so delivery of work is to a high standard

Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of a quality assurance framework that deliver high-quality outcomes

Driving the development of quality assurance systems and procedures to ensure that they are fit for purpose and future focused

Managing and continuously improving a quality assurance framework and develop tools for audits and assurance

Coaching and supporting the onsite construction management teams in their leadership of quality and compliance

Working with the New Zealand construction quality, compliance and administration to ensure consistency in quality assurance process and practices across the group

Leading the Victorian Construction Administration team to deliver excellent service to the site teams

Providing reporting that utilises lead and lag indicators to identify areas of greatest risk surrounding quality assurance and compliance

Monitoring and supporting construction team compliance with federal, state, and local building codes and other relevant legislation.

Who are you?

You are a solutions focussed and systematic subject matter expert in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with proven experience from within the commercial construction industry

You’re a stickler for detail, and love to be have everything “just right” and if it’s not right, you love asking “why” to really get under the hood

You are systems orientated, and have a genuine passion for quality and you understand the importance of having robust controls in place

You have a flexible and adaptable approach when it comes to continuous improvement and change and be motivated by it!

You value people and kindness, and are passionate about delivering excellent results

You strive for excellence and constantly look for ways to exceed expectations; delivering a high-quality service at speed will be second nature
