Objective:
Manage the allocated Key Account/s holistically to ensure company sales objectives are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Forecast accuracy, monthly sales assumption/prediction vs budget to be achieved.

Accomplish and advance sales budgets, create opportunities to achieve the budgets set

Negotiate, implement, and execute SLA’s and Logistics agreement as agreed upon and accepted by both parties. Ensure monthly services are received as per the SLA and remediated back for Audit.

Management and accountability of timeous contracts between legal and the customer through to sign off.

Ensure stock levels are kept at optimal levels in the Key Account.

Communicate to sales overstocks, implement commercial drives to reduce over stock.

Communicate and collaborate with the Buyer to replenish stock that is understocked.

Ensure all monthly invoices are submitted for payment for SLA’s Promotions, claims etc.

Reconcile and support Aspen Accounts department with statements, ensuring all outstanding invoices are resolved timeously.

Implement marketing and promotional grid that would support in achieving sales budgets and drive commercial activities with the Key account, Telesales and Sales Representative.

Completion of the promotional grid with marketing and negotiating with customers on opportunities available for promotions

Collaborate and communicate monthly and weekly performance updates to BUH, RSM and sales reps. Participate in RSM regional meeting. Strategize and plan regional commercial initiative.

Weekly Communication and updates.

Responsible in ensuring that all Customer claims and returns are up to date and executed monthly.

Collaborating and communicating with the wholesalers regarding outstanding claims to ensure there is no backlog.

Ms Office: The Key Account Manager demonstrates high proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, which are necessary for the creating reports and communicating internally and externally to all stakeholders.

A solid understanding of the Pharma Industry (competitors and market positioning)

In-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory policies.

A solid understanding of mathematical calculations

Commercial Acumen

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Essential Experience:
MS Excel proficiency on an Advanced level.

Matric Certificate

Minimum of 3 years Sales Rep experience or 1 year Sales Management/brand manager experience, preferably in the Pharma market.

Proven track record of sales experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, possessing an ability to drive sales and having met and even exceeded business targets.

The suitable candidate for the position will also have substantial expertise and proven CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

Advantageous Experience:
Sales or Marketing, / relevant Diploma/ Degree (Advantageous).
