Key tasks and responsibilities


Business Results

Passion and a ‘Can Do’ attitude are prevalent throughout the day to day operations team

To be fully aware of the various opening and closing procedures, ordering procedures as well as the different food and beverage service offers available

To work on a weekly rota to cover the various locations for holidays, sickness and when support is required to cover the level of business

To ensure that all preparation, set-up and services are completed promptly and efficiently to the impeccable standards and time scale set

Work within the limits of budgets and objectives to maximize profitability

To ensure you are fully aware of the daily and monthly menus in order to answer any queries made by clients or their guests regarding dietary requirements or allergens

To ensure the correct procedures are adhered to regarding the service of beverages

To act as a runner for food and beverages from the kitchen to the meeting rooms

To ensure that the appropriate consumption sheets are filled accordingly

Report any issues or complaints to the Manager and action accordingly

To ensure all silverware used during lunch and dinner service is kept secure and clean when not in use

To ensure rooms are cleared after every service and ready to be reused insuring you report any faults to the relevant people

To ensure that your place of work is always kept clean and tidy

To ensure always that the Company and Statutory Regulations of Hygiene and Safety are adhered to

To carry out any reasonable request by management

Assist in other departments when necessary

To support other JPMorgan sites as and when required

To attend all team meetings & training

Risk, Controls and Conduct

Ensure compliance to company code of conduct

To understand all JPMC policies and procedures and to ensure the daily implementation of said polices

To ensure that the correct financial procedures are followed

To positively promote JPMC in both general conduct and standard of dress.

Ensure the requirements of the code of conduct are always fulfilled

Always promote a professional image of JPMC

Maintain quality and safety standards on site

Maintain a high standard of hygiene in respect of premises, staff and food handling and ensure that all staff members attend the company hygiene training

Liaise with the quality & safety team in relation to incidents/accidents/emergencies on site

Ensure the unit adheres to the Food Hygiene Regulations and Food Hygiene Regulations and any other relevant legislation particularly HACCP

To be aware of preventative maintenance of equipment to ensure the smooth running of the operation always

Ensure that all procedures and controls which have been implemented conform to the requirements of JPMC and its clients

Carry out beverage and dry store stock takes

To be fully conversant with COSHH regulations

To report and where possible take actions for any incident, fire, loss, theft, damage, unfit food or other irregularities
