Customer Service Consultant Job at nib health funds – in Cork, County Cork
We are on the lookout for a Customer Service Consultant who will be based in our Cork office. In this role, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Contact Centre. This role is responsible for delivering efficient, high quality service to our travellers who are looking to purchase Travel Insurance policies.
Your days will revolve around the following:
Taking calls in an inbound call centre environment
Providing a top-class customer service experience to World Nomad’s travellers
Answering emails from our travellers
Answering all enquiries from our travellers who are looking to take up travel insurance
Keeping file notes up to date
Investigating customer issues escalating these so they can be resolved as quickly as possible
Being an advocate for process improvements and sharing best practice techniques with fellow team mates
Sending through policy details to the relevant party
Building strong rapport with your team mates and manager

You most definitely have:
1+ years’ work experience in a customer service role
Have a remarkable level of communication skills (written & verbal)
Exceptional rapport building skills
Team playing attitude
Strong computer skills
Strong geographical knowledge, personal travel experience highly desired
Confidential and professional telephone technique
Strong problem solving skills
Effective time management
Ability to demonstrate a strong customer service ethic and focus
Experience of working within an Insurance Company is advantageous
Are desired from you:
Insurance and/or travel insurance experience
Experience working in customer service
Knowledge of GDPR
APA/CIP qualified or willing to study towards either qualification
Ability to develop knowledge of Consumer Protection Code (CPC) and travel insurance product/s knowledge
