Matchworks is contracted by the Australian Government, through the Department of Education, Skills and Employment to deliver employment services to unemployed job seekers to directly assist them in their employment journey. We do this through the provision of advice and support, professional services, relevant training, connections with a range of government initiatives and ongoing support once they have secured employment.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Officer who will be the first point of contact for all face-to-face, phone and electronic enquiries at our Epping site which a is hub for jobseekers in the region. This position is critical to the provision of a high level of customer service to jobseekers, employers, training organisations, support services and general public as well as administration support to the team.

This is an exceptionally rewarding position where no two days will be the same. With a focus on customer service, you will be able to work in a high flow reception area and be responsible for

Greeting and directing enquiries and appointments both over email, phone and face-to-face

General administration and office supply ordering

Invoice and administration processing

Responding to queries in a timely manner

This position is suited to a go-getter who with highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills and demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail and an ability to engage and influence. This position is suited to an individual who can apply strong communication and negotiation skills as well as demonstrate administrative skills including word processing, data entry and file management.
