The Job Responsibilities

Create quotations for Capital Equipment purchases. This includes researching applicable promotions & corporate account affiliations, obtaining approvals and making revisions to existing quotes.
Enter capital equipment orders for specific product lines sold by Draeger. This includes reviewing the purchase order to ensure accuracy against quote, interacting with Accounting regarding credit issues and other issues, as needed. Liaise with global and/or regional Order Management team on confirmation of delivery dates to customer. Create commission credit requests, if applicable.
Perform single point of sales administrative support for major accounts in assigned territory. Examples of key accounts may include, but are not limited to, an account with up to 4 modalities/segments, a large OEM, etc.
Process change orders, adding parts to previously shipped orders or creating RMA’s for return of incorrect parts that were shipped to the customer, interacting with other departments to obtain required approvals, updating the Account Executive/Regional Sales Manager, or any other party involved with the transaction.
Purchase product from vendors. This includes creating a purchase order with reference to a purchase requisition, creating a purchase order for outside vendors for products or services needed by project managers, changing pricing and dates when confirmation of the purchase order is received, receiving product against the purchase order and approving payment. Advising Account Executives/Regional Sales Managers of status of purchase order.
Monitor and manage active orders including all backlog activities, inquiries pertaining to delivery dates, transportation, etc. and management and monitoring of external providers, follow up and update of field Sales.
Act as proxy to co-workers in case of absence. Collaborate with Lead CSS on product changes, marketing info and promotions to ensure full knowledge.
Manage workflow for contracts working with Sales and Legal to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications

Education:

High School graduate or equivalency; education beyond high school a plus or a combination of education and experience

Related Experience:

Five or more years’ experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, Sales, Inside Sales, Order Management, Product Management or related type position
Demonstrated experience in the development of excellent working relationships with internal and external business partners
Experience providing administrative support to senior management preferred
