The Homeland Group is looking for dynamic,flexible and adaptive Intelligence Trainer/Instructor to support our Federal Government Customer in Washington, DC!
The Idea candidate must possess the subject matter expertise inCyber Threats and Vulnerabilitiesin the courses taught and able to articulate real world experiences in applying the training material in intelligence or law enforcement environments. Provide intelligence training planning, analysis, and delivery of a four-day, mobile training course on Cyber Analysis. Duties will include:
Supporting intelligence training planning and analysis;
development of curriculum;
delivering training of a four-day mobile course across the country;
providing subject matter expertise in cybersecurity and cyber analysis
providing mentoring to improve student performance;
delivering lectures and presentations and evaluating student performance.
Must have competed a minimum of a 40 hour Basic Instructor Certification Course that covers the following competencies:
Ethical Issues in Training
Principles of Adult Learning
Instructional Systems Design
Performance Objectives Development
Testing and Assessment
Training Tools and Technology
Lesson Plan Development
Introduction to Presentation Graphics
Evaluating Laboratories and Practical Exercises
Classroom Management Issues
Instructor lesson observation and feedback at time of Task Order assignment.
Ten (10) years of intelligence experience that can be met through combined years of intelligence experience at the Federal, State, or Local level is required.
Five (05) years of direct operational experience in the subject taught is required. (For example, instructors designated to teach analytic methods must have five years of experience applying analytic methods in a Federal or State Intelligence Analyst position.)
Two (2) years of experience operating in the Department of Homeland Security
Intelligence Enterprise or the Homeland Security Enterprise.
A four-year degree from an accredited institution of higher learning is required. (Degrees in law enforcement, intelligence studies, and education are desirable); Federal or State experience exceeding 15 years in the subject that the instructor will teach and a
2-year associate’s degree may be substituted for a 4-year degree with approval from the government.
