Dental Hygienist – $40 to $45/hr + Benefits!
Our private dental practice is growing and looking for a talented Dental Hygienist to join our team Full-time! We offer a warm and friendly office environment. Our team loves having fun and we truly value our amazing team.
Our ideal candidate is fun-loving, cares about the details and has exceptional communication skills. Someone that understands the importance of the oral-systemic connection. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand, thrive in a high energy atmosphere, are coach-able & approachable with a love for people, we are looking for you 🙂
Schedule:4 Days per week with some flexibility.
Compensation:$40 – $45/hr with benefits (retirement, health ins, PTO & team bonus)
Responsibilities:
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or CBCT Scans as well as intraoral pictures of each patient
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain digital documentation and charts on each patient using Curve dental software
Skills:
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s is a plus
Valid license to practice
OSHA & Infection Control Training
