Job Description

Job purpose

The developer position exists to support other departments in their role to implement solutions for clients. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying web pages, from layout to function. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Duties and responsibilities

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

Develop interfaces between different software platforms including APIs

Developing web interfaces to client data for manipulation and report delivery.

Assist in the development of best practices for client script protocol and other new systems.

Help create self-service tools and reports for internal and external use.

Created automated methods to import, manipulate and deliver data via automated services

Take active role in the implementation and management of the scripted platform for servicing clients and other departments.

Interfacing with other departments to proactively gather issues and requests

Research new technologies and advise on feasibility and benefit.

Assist other department by up training on IT features

Documentation ? developing guides and protocols for ongoing projects and troubleshooting.

Provide timely responses and documentation of changes to client accounts.

Assist Customer Care by interfacing with the clients in order to create new projects resolve technical issues

Other duties as needed


Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

4+ years in web development

2+ years developing with SQL databases

Strong ability to program content in WordPress and/or Drupal

Working with SRE teams or in DevOps environments a plus

Working in Continuous Deployment environments a plus

Experience using Linux/Asterisk preferred

The candidate will be setting up applications for agent and automated processes in order to parse, present, collect and report information. Therefore understanding documentation, creating and troubleshooting logic flows that are found in common programming languages are keys to success.

Candidate must have a deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience in the following areas:

Delivering data visualizations

Integrating with CRM systems

Developing internal web services Web Services (REST/SOAP) API endpoints

Integrating with external API protocols

Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, best practice security principles, general web functions and standards.

The position requires constant communication with colleagues.

Candidate must have demonstrated experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and ASP.NET.

Must have the ability to work a flexible work schedule (including weekends and holidays).

Working conditions

Employee will generally be working in an office environment with controlled temperatures.

Occasionally employee may be asked to walk from one building to another which will result in limited exposure to outside temperatures.

Physical requirements

Employee must be able to remain at workstation for long periods of time. Must be able to operate office equipment including telephone with headset, computer, and keyboard. Must be able to view computer screen in order to read instructions and type responses.

Must be able to speak and write coherently in English. Must be able to operate the software used on the computer. Must be able to hear callers through headset. Employee must be able to think clearly, concentrate and cooperate well with managers, employees, and customers.
