Digital Marketer | Benguela Collection

We are #NowHiring a Digital Marketer, focused on promoting restaurants in South Africa and England, to join our Marketing Team.

You would be working on the Benguela Collection restaurants, owned by Penny Streeter OBE. This role requires a highly creative thinker, capable of creating imaginative, engaging content, delivering hands-on campaigns, to meet our business goals. The main focus will be on promoting Michelin-star Restaurant Interlude, the neighbouring Vineyard Kitchen Restaurant in West Sussex and Moody Lagoon in Hermanus, among others, in print and online media, growing the social media following, and increasing bookings at both venues.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing competitive research

Set annual marketing strategy and report on performance quarterly

Update and maintain the website(s)

Create, manage and report on Content Creation strategy, in line with Business Goals

Create, manage and report on Social Media Content Strategies

Copy writing (newsletters, webpages, blogs, etc.)

Update and manage listing sites (online and print)

Email marketing

Collaborate with SEO and Design Teams

Contribute to our strong teamwork culture

Be able to work across a range of different projects

Follow our brand’s corporate identity consistently

Qualifications/Skills:
Experience in hospitality and or restaurant industry

Cope under extreme pressure

Good organisational skills and time management – work under strict deadlines

Detail orientated

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Google Analytics Certification (beneficial)

Proven track record in social media management (paid and organic)

Experience with Squarespace / WordPress / similar

Requirements:
Marketing Qualification (BA / Diploma / Certificate)

3 Years’ experience in the digital marketing industry

1 Year minimum experience managing social media

Facebook / Social Media Qualifications / Certifications a plus
