Newly created position responsible for strategy and execution of Enterprise Excellence for growing Aerospace Company in Salt Lake City. The Director of Continuous Improvement has overall responsibility for leading and driving Enterprise Excellence across the Salt Lake City facilities. Trains, coaches and directly applies lean principles, systems and tools to all business functions within company value streams. This Leader will work with site leadership to achieve significant improvements to business processes that are linked to site strategy and focused on the customer, resulting in Continuous Improvement (e.g. lean, six sigma, TOC) culture.

Position will interact with customers regularly to demonstrate our differentiation of enterprise excellence. Key communication efforts about our plans and progress to those plans internally as well as externally are included in the responsibilities of this position.
Communicate and educate operations colleagues and all AEC colleagues on the content, definition and continuous evolution of enterprise excellence. Specifically, this can mean creation of a certification program and central team through whom standards, behaviors and consistency is established; a steady round of face to face work with small teams at each site.
Lead site Managers to create the plan of development across the SLC facilities. Including develop and deploy the annual and 12 month rolling SLC Excellence Plan, consistent with AEC annual Focus document and operations planning objectives.
Standardized Enterprise Excellence activities across the site creating and deploying systems and tool standards. Creating common/standard library of systems, tools and visual factory creating a single EE look and feel.
