We’ve supported pioneering artists including Nadya Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot, Shawna X, Yung Jake, Aphex Twin, Zach Lieberman, Kim Laughton, Sarah Zucker, Devendra Banhart, Viktoria Modesta, Serwah Attafuah, Edward Snowden, and Dom Hofmann, the cofounder of Vine. And we’re just getting started.
Foundation’s Director of Talent will be an experienced, well-rounded, and strategic individual who can establish recruitment processes across the entire team. They will be an exceptional networker, collaborator, and judge of character who can build our team in line with our values—which includes a priority toward diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The ideal candidate naturally draws out the best in people, quickly recognizes their potential, and matches their talent to meet the needs of our teams. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, onboarding, employee development, compensation, employee benefits, and employee relations.
Proactively partner with Foundation’s leadership team to understand their hiring needs and translate those into initiatives that attract diverse talent
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews with prospective candidates
Build underrepresented talent pipelines of top candidates using creative sourcing methods including referrals, online sourcing, partnerships, and events
Maintain and track pipeline activity to share with hiring managers
Seek out platforms, recruiting fairs, conferences and other opportunities to recruit underrepresented candidates
Drive the interview and offer process, including job descriptions, interview schedules, reference checks, and salary recommendations
Maintain data integrity and report recruiting metrics as needed
Build out a smooth, informative onboarding process that sets new hires up for success
Manage payroll, PTO, other administrative tasks through our HR software vendor
Create a best-in-class benefits package to help attract and retain talent
You have 7+ years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated experience in hiring and fostering a culture of high performance
You are a confident written and verbal communicator who loves to connect with new people
You are passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion
You have experience with recruiting metrics and using data to guide decisions and strategy
You are excited about developing processes and initiatives that improve sourcing, performance management, and internal feedback processes
You are ready to collaborate with a fast-moving team
Experience with building an employment brand, and developing remote and international teams is a plus
