Dispatcher

Pace International in Union Gap is looking for dispatchers with experience. The seasonal Thermofogging dispatcher is responsible for acting as a direct hub for the collection of information and data management that is received from area salespeople and technical service personnel working in the field.

Dispatcher receives information for upcoming Thermofog/Fysium applications and organizes jobs for each day. Assigns job numbers, collects room data information, provides review on product dosage calculations, and sends out daily dispatch log to specified groups. Ensures paperwork and data is collected regularly and processed efficiently. Receives initial call from applicator as job begins to verify room number, apple variety, bin count, and dosage calculation. Collects data at the conclusion of job and routes to main dispatcher.

The dispatcher position requires knowledge in fruit/apple industry preferred. Knowledge of fruit varieties and a basic understanding of post-harvest fruit practices preferred.

Knowledge of fruit/apple industry preferred.

Knowledge of dispatch processes.

Ability to keep organized and multitask. Ability to work on short notice.

Ability to work long hours/unscheduled hours

Ability to keep pleasant attitude and provide excellent internal customer service.
