The Red Hat Talent Management team is looking for a Diversity and Inclusion (D+I) Program Manager focused on Education and Development to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you’ll be a part of the HR (People) team and serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant to business leaders and People team partners focused on talent engagement and development, and promoting an inclusive environment where associates at all levels can perform their best. In addition, you’ll be responsible for deploying and sustaining the learning and development content at the enterprise level, as well as across the organization’s various business units in close coordination with the Learning and Development team and other People team functions. You will guide the cross-functional efforts in support of strategic planning processes by benchmarking key measures against external industry, region, and best-in-class peers.
Primary job responsibilities:
Develop a framework for inclusion strategies, curriculum, and resources for learning and development programs for associates, managers, senior leadership audiences, and our D+I communities
Provide expertise and vision based on best practices, industry trends, and research in various talent life cycle areas like performance development, career mobility, succession planning, rewards, and inclusive benefits
Develop strategies for internal programming like sponsorship and mentorship programs for underrepresented associates
Provide consultation to communication teams in the design of program marketing, change management, and communication strategies, ensuring awareness, outreach, and relevance for internal audiences
Assist with delivering learning experiences to develop leaders who model and guide inclusive behaviors
Evaluate and report the effectiveness and adoption of learning and development programs. and their impact on business results
Create and moderate safe spaces for honest and practical dialogue around diversity and inclusion while challenging conventional wisdom
Use deep subject matter and functional expertise and persuasive and process skills to help business customers understand dimensions of diversity, including cultural and regional
8+ years of education, training, or related experience
5-7+ years of experience in advancing diversity and inclusion in a complex organization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Passionate about creating learning and development strategies for diversity and inclusion with the ability to balance personal and varying perspectives
Familiarity with developing strategies that connect Diversity and Inclusion communities or other organizational groups with the strategic priorities of an organization
Expertise in designing innovative approaches, developing a set of priorities, and delivering on plans
Ability to maintain confidentiality while analyzing sensitive data and information
Ability to manage ambiguity in the workplace and apply problem-solving skills
Ability to learn, apply, and communicate inclusive business concepts to a variety of audiences
Balance of excellent communication skills with solid analytical capabilities and a metrics-focused mindset
Demonstrated collaborative and persuasive skills and ability to build coalitions and collaborative working relationships
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus
