Editorial Expert (m/f)

Job Description:
Airbusis seeking an editorial expert responsible for creating inspirational and engaging content that showcases Airbus’ purpose to pioneer sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world. As part of the Communications team, you are a key promoter as well as defender of the Airbus brand worldwide.

You create, edit and adapt content – editorial copy, visual storytelling for infographics and video content – for Airbus corporate communication channels. You are bold and enjoy tackling complex topics or challenges.

You craft content based on key messages provided by communication peers or interviews you perform with relevant experts or stakeholders. You have great attention to detail and always strive for synergies to maximise content performance whether reach or impact. You have robust journalistic skills, a strong appetite for aviation as well as the curiosity to explore topics in the defence, space or helicopter sectors on a case by case basis. You are an English fluent speaker with proven writing expertise. Your digital communication skills are fully up to date with the current online content trends.

Key responsibilities

As part of Airbus Content team , you

Create, edit and adapt content for Airbus different corporate communication channels (intranet, web)

Apply a 360° approach to content creation in order to maximise impact

Ensure full alignment with communication and business priorities in order to support the company’s objectives and the Airbus purpose

Aim for maximum reach and impact towards targeted audiences

Key activities

As part of the Airbus Content team, you

Develop storytelling, create original content suitable for a variety of channels: from intranet, web stories or static copies to narratives for video scripts

Edit, proofread existing copies to comply with the Airbus style guide

Manage validation loops with key stakeholders, in close collaboration with other communications colleagues

Apply project management methods and have a collaborative mindset with other colleagues and stakeholders

Competences

The job requires the following skills and experience:
Writing and editorial excellence, journalistic background

Digital mindset and skills

Project management

Strong appetite for the aviation sector, including its various markets and customers

Structured and rigorous, attention to details, well organised and very autonomous

Creative & can-do attitude; willingness to try innovate and test new communications tactics

Ability to work in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment

Robust project management skills – delivering on time and on quality

A considerate and collaborative team player with a diplomatic and engaging way of working

Ability to negotiate with and persuade key stakeholders at all levels of the business

English Fluency is requested for this position, French, German or Spanish is a plus.
