The Judicial Registrar (JR) is a multi-faceted position and plays a key role within the reformed structure of the Court, particularly in relation to the following:
undertaking a diverse range of registrar work across all nine NPAs and sub-areas, including conducting mediations and case management in support of judges and performing delegated judicial functions;
working collaboratively with senior registrars to support the Chief Justice and all judges in relation to the allocation, reallocation and case management of the Court’s original jurisdiction and appellate judicial work; and
supporting the strategic review and development of the Court’s policy and practice.
This role is suitable for lawyers with substantial civil litigation experience. The role will expose candidates to a high calibre of legal work, while offering an enviable work environment within a national superior Court.
