Job Description

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.


Experience in driving Marketing and/or Business Strategy.

Experience in data visualization (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau).

Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of Google’s products and technology industry.

Ability to shape, articulate, and socialize well structured, well founded insights and recommendations across different levels and stakeholder groups (e.g., Marketing, Sales).

Excellent communication skills and proficient ability to use readily available data from Regional and Global teams to shape Marketing Event strategy.

Excellent cross-functional and cross-collaboration skills.

Proficient in SQL skills to connect to different database sources.

As part of the EMEA Ads Marketing team, your mission is to help the Ads Marketing organization thrive. You will be part of our Dublin Marketing Team which has a mission to maximize the potential of our primary customer engagement channel – Ads customer events (e.g., covering Search, YouTube).

As an EMEA Ads Events Strategist, you will work cross-functionally and cross-regionally to deliver highly relevant, impactful and engaging events for key customers.

As an Events Strategist, you will be identifying, understanding, and meeting customer needs, journeys and experiences. You will be surfacing insights and opportunities where our current strategy, approach and tactics are under-delivering. You will make clear recommendations and steps to our senior leadership and wider team on how we can improve.

Responsibilities

Master the main Ads Events data and insights resources so you are fully comfortable with accessing, pulling and structuring data that represents our Ads Events activities and results across relevant analytical buckets.

Understand Ads Events strategy strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement, using the data and insights, and convert these insights into recommendations.

Based on Quantitative analysis, extract customer behavior hypotheses and review with Marketing and Sales colleagues to cross check with qualitative insights and feedback from the ground.

Create new Ads Events reporting cadence suitable both for leadership and EMEA Product Marketing Managers.

Align Ads Events strategic insights and recommendations with leads across regional and local teams and customer engagement strategies.
