JAC Products has an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the team in Franklin, GA. In this position, you will use your professional experience to support the overall strategic initiatives of the manufacturing site and the effective execution of deliverables including ownership for the Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Capital Asset Request (CAR) Approval, Equipment Plan, and Installation, Equipment Qualification, Tooling and Equipment Tryout, Run at Rate, Operator Work Instructions.
This position will support product launches and lead the creation of specific process work instructions. The Manufacturing Engineer also verifies BOM for parts manufactured on assigned cells and supports the development of packaging and ensures BOMs and packaging instructions are accurate. There is also the opportunity to work with Launch Mangers, Facility Tooling and Equipment Suppliers to develop and build assembly fixtures, aids or other equipment needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or the equivalent, relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with relevant manufacturing systems
Practical, successful experience in developing Standard Work and manufacturing work-cell layout
Demonstrated successful team member in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Datum Structure and Design for Manufacturing
Ability to work productively, prioritize action items, and produce results
Superior written and verbal communication skills
