An opportunity has arisen to become part of an innovative, forward-thinking operation within the Best Food logistics team, The Export Manager will support Pret’s growth internationally alongside Best Food. The Export Manager will work with all functions within Best Food to gather relevant information (forecasting, health certificates etc).

Role and Responsibilities:
Managing a monthly forecasting process with Pret equity and Franchise International markets and ensuring UK suppliers are briefed.

Manage the pricing profiles for each international partner/market on a monthly basis to ensure invoicing practices are correct and payments possible on time.

Accountability for Export Paperwork compliance (Export Health Certificates, Private Attestations, Phytosanitary, CMR’s and other Customs Documents).

Conduct targeted 121s with Pret teams on a weekly basis to ensure international market supply is On Time and In Full.

Manage the interactions of international 3PLs and franchise partners to determine ongoing supply needs.

Identify and improve the international supply chain efficiencies in collaboration with in-market teams and freight forwarders.

Be the point of contact for Pret teams who wish to supply goods to their international markets.

Support Pret in their creation of new supply chains to new markets based on their strategy.

Lead Weekly/Monthly video or conference calls with in-country teams to discuss critical paths and any changes in supply or issues.

Manage product recalls process in collaboration with 3PLs in international markets.

Accountability for International bespoke SKUs availability.

Management of Customs agent process for exports to non-EU markets.

Management of nominated freight forwarders performance in collaboration with all market in country supply teams.

To scope and present business cases where necessary for Best FL system development to support international operations.

Responsibility of compiling and presenting international volumes and budgets for board meetings.

Line Management responsibilities of export admin team and accountability for accuracy of warehouse picking team.

Management of stock levels across international 3PL hubs.

Responsible for ensuring that all Brexit related requirements for Best FL are scoped and agreed with the Depot Senior Management Team.
