Our client is looking for a Field Application Engineer to facilitate and support their expansion into OEM and embedded markets. Working closely with sales and marketing, the FAE will be required to technically and commercially assist the OEM sales process; from engaging with the customers, understanding their projects, quoting customers, solving problems and achieving customer satisfaction with outstanding sales results.
Your role:
● You’ll be learning the product portfolio and the technology stack.
● Working to meet company objectives to the highest possible level.
● Proactively building strong customer relationships and maintaining an awareness of commercial opportunities for new and existing customers.
● You’ll be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and act as an inclusive ambassador for Industrial IT Systems.
About you:
You must hold a Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar Engineering discipline and have 2+ years of relevant experience in I.T. You should have impressive interpersonal skills and keen commercial awareness; customer-facing experience and be well-versed with theoretical data communication principles.
You will be expected to show a high level of attention to detail; take ownership of your work and utilise all the available resources to achieve outstanding results. Confident understanding of sales process and the ability to work comfortably in a small team would be a bonus.
