Job Description

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant in South Derbyshire on a permanent basis. The role will offer hybrid working, and our client is considering full time and part time applicants.

Some of your main responsibilities will be –

  • Raise purchase orders and track through approval process
  • Maintenance of accounts email inbox
  • First point of contact for supplier queries
  • New supplier account creation
  • Maintenance of existing supplier accounts
  • Matching, checking and coding of invoices
  • Tracking invoices through approval process
  • Payments
  • Analysis of invoices
  • Archive invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Maintenance of staff expense system
  • Analysis of staff expenses

You must have strong purchase ledger experience, with a good eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy accounts team. Candidates who are looking for part time hours are being considered for this role. Hours will be over Monday to Friday but are negotiable. Candidates looking for full time hours are also welcome to apply.
