Finance Assistant Job at Robertson Group in Tameside
Robertson FM is focused on establishing a profile and track record which sets new standards in a market centred on partnership with both public and private sector clients. The post-holder will work closely with operations team, the Management Accountant and the England Finance Business Partner to ensure robust administration of the contract finances.
Performing tasks such as timely invoicing to our customers, tracking and monitoring financial data at month-end and supporting with the administration of payroll, the post holder will be a key member of the contract team.

Your new role:
What you’ll do
Maintenance of the CAFM system (Concept) including assigning jobs to suppliers, chasing contractors, and verifying the status of jobs
Overseeing the Consolidated invoice process for contract suppliers
Administration of Task Orders (out of scope additional works) including raising new Task Order paperwork and tracking Task Orders through to completion and billing
Support with the preparation of monthly applications for payment for non-core works and supporting with the collation of backing documentation required
Supporting with monthly reconciliations to ensure all additional works have been billed to the customer
Raising Purchase Orders to suppliers when required and in line with Budget and ensuring Purchase Orders are GRN’d when works are completed
Supporting with the set-up of new suppliers
Obtaining quotes from suppliers for client-requested works and obtaining the necessary client signoffs for works to be carried out
Ensure all work/input is completed accurately and to a high standard and working with the contract team to ensure that the contract is operating with effective internal controls
Maintain good housekeeping within your work area eg. Filing supporting documents on Sharepoint and ensuring appropriate audit trails are in place
What you’ll need
Good level numeracy and literacy skills
Proficient IT user including MS Office
Conscientious, reliable individual, with good attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Able to organise / prioritise own workload
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Advanced Excel (eg. Formulas, Macros, Power BI)
Previous experience of working within an FM company
Previous working experience within a finance or business administration department is preferred
