3D Systems, a leading global provider of 3D printing solutions, is seeking a Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to play a leading role in the preparation and filing of financial reports with the US SEC (i.e., Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K). This position will interact with leaders and staff within typical corporate functions and regional business units (Americas, EMEA and APAC). This role will also perform technical accounting research (e.g., new guidance adoption, position papers, etc.). Additionally, the position provides supplemental support for various technical accounting areas (e., stock based comp, lease accounting, revenue recognition, etc.). This position reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting. This role will be instrumental in collaboratively participating in bringing the finance function to the next level.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist in the preparing financial statements and financial information presented in SEC filings, including coordinating, gathering and analyzing data from various departments.
Accounting for equity-based compensation, including monthly journal entries, valuations, and required disclosures.
Coordinates the calculation and reporting of earnings per share.
Assist with earning press release, conference script and conference call materials.
Assist with the internal stakeholders, internal auditors and external auditors.
Perform US GAAP and SEC technical research, including drafting technical memos.
Assist in development and review of the accounting policies for the Company.
Assist in preparation of fixed asset roll-forward schedules in connection with the close process and cash flow analysis.
Assist with the implementation of new technical accounting guidance.
Perform additional accounting and reporting duties as requested by Finance, Accounting and Treasury management.
Support tracking of capital project spending monthly and distribute to project owners.
Enter, retire, impair and transfer fixed assets in the ERP system as needed.
Participate in the global annual physical inventory of fixed assets.
Compare capital spending for each project to the approved project details and research any discrepancies.
Provide direction and assistance to other departments as it relates to capitalization versus expense.
Master’s Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 4 years “big 4” public accounting required
4+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting industry experience
Oracle EBS and Hyperion Financial Management systems preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
