Chubb Systems now has an opportunity for a Fire Detection & Alarm (D&A) Engineer in Leinster. The main goal of this role is to carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installations of Fire Detection, Fire Alarm and associated equipment and products, whilst continually promoting Chubb’s products and services.
What will I be doing as a D&A Engineer?
Servicing, maintenance and commissioning of fire detection, lighting, gas suppression and emergency lighting systems
Plan and organize your ownwork programme to ensure that work is carried out in an efficient and organised way
Complete all appropriate documentation and records, in a timely fashion to the required standards
Support the rota schedule as required to maintain a reliable and responsive out of hour’s service for customers
To be successful in this role you will:
Have prior experience of the installation or service of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and Emergency Lighting Systems, this is essential
Present yourself in a professional manner with customers, including keeping company uniform and vehicle clean and presentable
Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, self-motivated and able to problem solve in a logical manner
Be comfortable with the manual handling aspect of this role as well as able to work at heights
Holding a recognised Electrical or Electronic qualification is preferred, but not essential
Hold a current driving licence
