WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Energy Analyst is responsible for preparing and implementing a comprehensive energy management plan and program.
This includes the preparation of Business Cases, managing the purchasing process as per Broader Public Sector (BPS) Guidelines, and Project Management of the initiative associated with the program.
As the hospital’s energy expert, the Energy Analyst will collect, monitor, analyze and report on energy data with the goal of improving energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption and avoiding energy costs.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred
Post-Secondary diploma or degree in a technology discipline is preferred
Progressive experience with large distributed control systems within complex buildings/campuses are required. Experience must demonstrate advanced knowledge of:
Building Automation Systems
Feedback and control hardware and theory
Building components controlled by the BAS
Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Knowledge of, and experience with, BPS purchasing guidelines
Demonstrated Project Management skills
Health Care experience is an asset
Experience with the following systems is an asset:
Delta Controls BAS
Translogic pneumatic tube systems
Edwards Fireworks and EST fire alarms
Maintenance Edge by Dude Solutions computerized maintenance management system; and,
Schneider Electrical Monitoring system
