The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Community Hospital team and work with an exceptional team of General Service staff.
This role will include a wide range of tasks, from serving meals and drinks, kitchen, portering duties to general and infection control cleaning.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and dedicated to providing the very best environment for our patients. We also require flexibility as the successful post holder will be required to work in different areas of the hospital.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of the post is:
To provide a complete level of ancillary service to the Clinical Unit/Ward Manager. This is a key post, vital to maintaining the Organisation’s hygiene and control of infections.

Good basic level of ability in Maths and English
Experience of preparing and serving meals for a range of clients with different dietary requirements
NVQ Level 2 equivalent qualification/experience
