Job Description
The Global Domestic Payments and Receivables team is leading the transformation to create global solutions and standardize the approach to managing our network, which extends across 90+ markets, aligning it to our client’s business models which are increasingly regional and/or global. The alignment involves fundamental change across all network management disciplines to consistently and efficiently deliver our domestic network capabilities and solutions, and create best in class client experience.
In addition, the Domestic Payments team must ensure that our solutions remain competitive in the mid and long term. As part of our strategy of being the network of networks, we are making significant investments in enhancing our Domestic Payments offering, building a global Instant Payments solution with value-add features, that complements our payment products and enables clients to grow and reinvent their business models.
This role will focus on the development and managing of our Instant Payments and value add solutions, already live in 30 markets globally, reaching to over 60 countries.
As a Global Instant Payments Product Manager, you will be part of the core team that leads the strategy and execution of Instant Payments solutions roadmap, as well as complimentary value add solutions such as Request to Pay or Instant Direct Debits, and be responsible for the development and commercial launch of new markets and capabilities by partnering with country and regional Product Managers, Technology teams, Implementations, Operations & Service, Sales, and other key stakeholders – to deliver solutions to clients that optimize experience, minimize risk, and drive revenue. You will deliver on strategic initiatives, identify value-creation opportunities and solutions that drive adoption of Instant Payment solutions across the globe. You will be an instrumental part of the go-to-market strategy by bringing best in class solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver next generation Global payment services to enable best in class Instant Payments solutions
Responsible for the end-to-end product development lifecycle – including requirements, solutions review, management of product releases, prioritization and tracking of business priorities, oversight of testing, product and tech readiness, launch to market, investment management and tracking.
Understand market, industry and client trends and adapt them for application to the creation of our products and solutions
Work in close co-ordination with Technology, Operations, Service, Compliance, Business Managers, and other stakeholders to fulfill the delivery of objectives
Implement best in class product launch governance models
Lead training sessions and internal communications for new product releases, product capabilities in scope, roadmaps, schedule and awareness
Deliver direct business results and advice regarding product development that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy
Partners with business leaders and a widely distributed global user community to define and implement nest in class solutions
Work hand in hand with our commercialization leads, to ensure that products are created to meet client needs and are ready to commercialize upon launch.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Job Qualifications
Knowledge Experience and Skills
8+ years of experience in payments, including product management and development.
Agile trained
Ability to write requirements, understand technology and operational solutions, architectural flows
Experience in implementing and managing strong governance models
Ability and experience in building larger networks and relationships internally and externally to influence and coordinate multiple stakeholders around a common goal and strategy
Direct experience in end-to-end multi-country project delivery
Process Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
Ability to structure and break down problems, develop solutions, and to drive to results
Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with team members of an organization
Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiative
Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker
Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
Attention to detail and process/analytic mindset
Good knowledge of end-to-end payment processing – including key business processes

Qualifications:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Post graduate qualification (valued, but not essential)
This Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015.”
