Global Sales Account Director Job at Infineon Technologies in Saint-Denis (93)
As a Global Sales Account Director, you will act as a key interface between Infineon and its customers for the assigned account management. You will be part of a global team, taking the responsibility to develop and grow the overall business, while focusing on strategy and sales management.
In your new role you will:
- Manage sales activities within the Automotive division with the designated customer while supporting management discussions with heads of purchasing located across the globe;
- Develop a strategy for the designated customers and to coordinate this strategy with the global team, assuring the interaction with cross-functional Automotive Business Units;
- Develop and secure a sustainable network at customer level to get early visibility of new business opportunities;
- Identify projects with high growth potential and assign the organization demand creation resources and competencies to maximize design wins;
- Be the interface and trusted partner in case of questions from the customer together with its assigned team;
- Monitor and drive the global customer team’s sales goals and coordinate input for revenue forecasting and budgeting for the designated segments.
In your daily work, you maintain high-quality standards whilst balancing the customers’ requirements and the interests of Infineon. Furthermore, you cooperate across boundaries and keep a strong drive and proactive attitude to overcome very complex situations.
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
- A university degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or related studies;
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, ideally in the automotive industry;
- Experience in risk management and strategic thinking;
- Ability to travel on a regular basis while working in an international environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills to manage global and multicultural stakeholders and interface with high management levels;
- Fluency in English. German knowledge is an advantage.
