Job Description

A role at the heart of our fast-paced finance department with a focus on internal and external corporate reporting requirements. Providing information to management and investors to help shape planning and strategy of the Group. Version 1 is a rapidly growing company which consistently means new and interesting challenges. The role covers a wide range of tasks and offers variety with month-end reporting as well as projects. It also provides great exposure to the operations of the whole business – ideal for someone transitioning from practice who wants to apply their existing skills, learn new ones and acquire a business acumen.


Month end accounting for intangibles and holding companies, and assist with month-end close for the whole group.

Assist with preparation of monthly board reporting pack, including liaising with finance business partners and business personnel to collate relevant information.

Preparation of monthly and quarterly bank reporting packs including calculation of covenants.

Involvement in annual external audit, ensuring deadline for signing of financial statements is met.

Assist with corporation tax for the group, including monthly transfer pricing and tax postings and liaising with external advisors on preparation of the corporation tax returns.

Undertake any other reasonable duties as required


Recently qualified Chartered Accountant.

Strong technical accounting skills with experience of reporting under IFRS and consolidations with multiple currencies preferable.

Ability to multi-task, prioritise when required and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail when undertaking data analysis.

Team player who demonstrates strong drive for results.
