Job Description

Pace is an established infrastructure inspection and maintenance company operating in a 4 state area; Montana, Wyoming, North & South Dakota for the last 30 years. We are seeking a hard-working and highly motivated Vacuum Truck Operator to add to our team in Billings Mt. This position offers competitive wages, great benefits and room for growth.   • Perform a full range of tasks required for line jetting operations to include but not limited to safely driving and operating vacuum/jetter trucks, jetting underground lines, removing roots, calcium and protruding taps in accordance with established industry and company standards.
  • Perform hydro excavating.
  • Service, adjust and perform minor repairs to trucks.
  • Learn CIPP products and Pace processes, safety procedures and installation techniques.
  • Work effectively with supervisors, clients, peers.
  • Drive various vehicles from pickups and television inspection vans to vacuum trucks.
  • Perform physical labor associated with line jetting operations including removing and inspecting manholes.
  • Safely operate heavy equipment and routinely use tools/equipment to include but not limited to: line jetting equipment, skid steer and CCTV equipment. Ensure that all equipment is maintained, repaired and in maximum operating condition.
  • Other tasks as needed not listed above or requested.


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Minimum Class B with tanker and air brake endorsement a must
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, procedure manuals and plan documents
  • Ability to comprehend instructions accurately to learn CIPP products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use
  • Travel Monday thru Friday – typically home on weekends
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • NASSCO, PACP and MAPC Certifications are a plus

Wages & Benefits:

  • $18.00-$20.00/Hr
