Hotel Receptionist – New Polzeath, Wadebridge

Atlantic House Hotel was rebuilt and opened this Summer in an outstanding location on Polzeath Beach overlooking the Camel Estuary, offering the perfect year-round holiday destination for our sophisticated guests. Comprising 10 Serviced Apartments and 12 Hotel Rooms with a very popular Bar & Restaurant, we require another Hotel Receptionist to complete our team. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Check in Guests via Hotel PMS system
  • Update and maintain PMS system, reporting any issues to the Director
  • Accept Apartment and Room Bookings from Hotel Website and Online Agents
  • Inform Guests of Hotel facilities and Restaurant information
  • Ensure Rooms and Communal Areas are ready for occupation
  • Proactively upsell Atlantic House to maximise revenue
  • Build a good rapport with all Guests
  • Resolve complaints or issues quickly
  • Maintain high quality of customer service
  • Observe the Company’s health and safety policy and procedures
  • General office duties, monitor and respond to emails, filing and telephone

You will need the following skills and experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Hotel Receptionist
  • Experience of Hotel Property Management Systems
  • Good technical and IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Immaculate presentation
  • Attention to detail
  • Forward thinking and a team player
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good time management and organisational skill

Expected start date: 01/11/2020

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £10,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
