The purpose of the Human Resources Administrative Assistant position is to support the Human Resources department which includes Payroll and Benefits. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and a high level of confidentiality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a TPS brand ambassador
Create spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and templates as needed
Support hiring managers by updating job descriptions, creating and closing job postings, screening applicants, and scheduling phone screens and interviews
Scan, file, organize and maintain HR documents
Approve employee changes and terminations in ADP
Send out Exit Interview surveys to employees leaving the company
Create and send offer letters and facilitate the onboarding process for Corporate and high-level store hires
Respond Unemployment Claims and Employment Verifications
Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and applicants
Maintain and analyze Indeed campaigns
Talent mining using Indeed Resume Search
Respond to emails from employees and applicants on topics including but not limited to Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, and Benefits
Draft and send communication out to employees on behalf of the HR department
Assist with creating training guides and informational documents for managers and employees
Run, manipulate, and analyze reports on recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits
Expense report management
Additional administrative tasks as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in specialty retail is preferred.
Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, time management and meeting deadlines
Able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Professional presentation in attire, demeanor and appearance
Maintain strict confidentiality
Possess the resourcefulness to be a motivated and organized self-starter who embodies the self-confidence to problem solve and “think on their feet.”
Demonstrate the ability to make decisions with sound judgement, and in the best interest of the business, store teams and customer
