The Opportunity Human Resources Administrative Assistant (Term)
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen appetite to grow their Human Resources career in the
forest manufacturing industry. This is a term position for approximately 8 months, from May 1st through
December 31st, with the possibility of extension.
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, you will maintain a high level of integrity and accountability
with a focused approach to achieving the overall desired outcome of the department. In this role, you will play an
integral part of the HR team, providing support in the employee life cycle including recruitment, systems and
supporting the implementation of programs and initiatives. With exposure to a broad range of activities and
projects, this opportunity will give you exposure in the suite of human resources.
As the successful candidate, you are committed to safety at all times; demonstrate a high level of integrity and the
ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner. You are a self-starter, detail
oriented with strong organizational skills and you have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. With a genuine passion for HR, you enjoy the buzz of meeting new
people and are a confident communicator who provides a high level of service to internal and external
