Assists the Director of Human Resources in the operation of the HR Department and the overall support of hotel operation to achieve profitability and employee productivity. Primary administrator for all payroll administration. Includes overall HR Generalist responsibilities.


3+ year’s progressively responsible experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management

1+ years’ experience in payroll administration

Computer skills essential, ADP experience preferred.

Hospitality related field a plus!

PHR/SPHR a plus!


Process new hire, termination, promotion, wage increase and all payroll/status information into ADP,

Ensure all new hire documentation is correct and filed, input data such as performance reviews and permits.

Review and work with Department Managers to ensure all PTO requests are properly administered.

Troubleshoot ADP problems with ADP.

Responsible for the entire recruiting, selection and onboarding process for hourly ambassadors with strong collaboration with Department Managers

Approve and process performance reviews. Work with managers on any action plans to improve performance of employees so that all employees meet hotel standards of performance. Process reviews in ADP and remind managers of upcoming reviews in a timely fashion.

Assist Director of HR on Workers Compensation/Labor and Industries issues including modified duty programs for injured workers. Complete Labor and Industry reports. Participate on the Safety Committee.

Assist Director of HR with processing unemployment claim information and representing the interest of the hotel in unemployment claims. Attend unemployment hearings and respond to inquiries such as claimant audit reports, etc.

Responsible for benefits administration including open enrollment, answering ambassador questions, providing accounting with reports for payment purposes, conducting audits and updating employee and plan information in Aetna and ADP.

Assist ambassadors with 401k Questions. Responsible for audits, compliance coding and reports.

Assist all hotel management in understanding and complying with all employment policies and hotel procedures. Ensure Federal, State and City law compliance.

Assist with ambassador training to ensure brand standards including New Hire Orientation, Service Excellence etc.

Collaborate and Assist with the design and execution of all ambassador recognition and relations programs

Leave of Absence, FMLA and all protected leave administration.

EEO management, completing EEO reports.

Maintain positive employee relations in a supportive environment.

Ensure good safety practices of employees throughout the hotel, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.
